How to Write Product Descriptions from Verified Facts
Turn specifications into a useful store listing without inventing benefits. See a complete mug example and a checklist for reviewing AI copy.
Collect facts before asking for copy
List the product name, material, dimensions, capacity, color and any compatibility details you can verify. Put uncertain claims in a separate note. A wide handle is a feature; comfort is a benefit that needs support. The generator accepts both product notes and verified facts, so you can keep the distinction visible while drafting. If you start from a product photo, the image-to-text tool can help you list visible color, shape and composition. Check material, capacity, care and performance against a product sheet before adding them to the description.
Example: a ceramic mug
Input: Blue ceramic mug; 300 ml; wide handle. Dishwasher and microwave suitability are unknown. A useful short description is: ‘A blue ceramic mug with a 300 ml capacity and a wide handle.’ Feature bullets can list ceramic body, blue finish, capacity and handle. Leave care and heating claims out until the manufacturer confirms them.
Choose a format, then edit each section
An online store often needs a short introduction, full description and scannable bullets. A marketplace listing may need a more compact presentation. The tool returns a title, short description, full description and bullets as editable sections. Use only sections your destination supports and add store-specific fields yourself.
Review before publishing
Check every material, size, certification, care instruction and performance claim against your source. Remove generic praise that does not help a buyer decide. Read the copy beside the actual product and photos: the text should describe what is sold, while any missing facts remain clearly unresolved.
